When: Saturday May 16th, 10am-3pm
Where: Downtown Bethesda on Woodmont Ave. between Bethesda Ave. and Elm St.
What: A day of fun for families, dog lovers, and of course, dogs! The schedule includes a Strut Your Mutt parade and contests, along with over 40 dog-related exhibitors, ranging from vets to dog walkers to dog boutiques. There will also be a dog adoption show, kiddie play area, raffle and more! The event will also be host to Purina ProPlan’s Rally to Rescue tour which includes area rescue organizations and demonstrations by Melissa Heeter, former Disk Dog World Champion. The festival is a fundraiser for the Bethesda-Chevy Chase Rescue Squad hosted by the Bethesda-Chevy Chase Rotary Club. Sponsors include Purina ProPlan, True Oldies 105.9 FM, Friendship Animal Hospital, Bethesda Magazine, The Gazette and the B-CC Chamber of Commerce.
