Rescue Spotlight: Lost Dog & Cat Rescue Foundation
A few weeks ago, I took a trip down to the Lost Dog & Cat Rescue Foundation Ranch in Sumerduck, VA. I wanted to capture some images of life at the ranch, and some updated shots of the animals looking for forever homes. It’s always bittersweet seeing dogs at a rescue shelter. There’s no way around the fact that a cage is not an ideal way to live. But to know that these animals were saved from far worse situations is heartening. And I was glad to see that the dog kennels extended from inside to outside and the dogs were free to move in and out at their discretion.
