Old Town Alexandria Fun Dog Show 2011

Without a doubt, Alexandria, Virginia is crazy about dogs. It was even named one of the dog-friendliest cities in the country. So when Old Town Alexandria combines their St. Patrick’s Day parade with an event for dogs, the Fun Dog Show, we know it is going to be great. Hosted by Barkley Square Bakery and Karing by Kristina, the Fun Dog Show features dogs of all shapes and sizes competing in fun categories like “Best Costume,” “Best Tail Wag,” and my favorite, “Dog and Person with most similar hair.” Here are some of my favorite images from the 2011 Fun Dog Show:

Alexandria Fun Dog Show

A few weekends ago, we attended the Fun Dog Show, part of Old Town Alexandria’s St. Patrick’s Day festivities. The event was hosted by Barkley Square Bakery. As always, there was a great crowd and some fabulous contests. Alexandria is definitely a dog town! Thanks to all the people who stopped by our table to chat.
