MD Dog Photography :: Jersey, Mikey and Madison
I recently had the opportunity to photograph three sweet dogs at their beautiful Maryland home. Mikey and Jersey are Coton de Tulears, a breed I wasn’t familiar with before our shoot. The breed is from Madagascar and they are probably best known for their shaggy hair that often covers their eyes. Madison is the Doberman and she welcomed me with a traditional Dobie bark. One of the things I love about being a dog photographer is getting to experience the different breeds. Here are a few of my favorites from our session:
Mikey lounges by the pool.

Poor Jersey was terrified of the camera. Here, she tried to hide amongst the bamboo.

Jersey had trouble getting comfortable in front of the camera, so Mom finally scooped her up to comfort her. I feel like she’s sticking her tongue out at me and saying “Ha, now you can’t get me!”

I was never quite sure if Madison was going to lick me or bite my head off. Luckily she chose the former.
