FidoJournalism Launches 4th Unconditional Love Contest

Valentine’s Day is upon us, and we are excited to launch our 4th FidoJournalism Unconditional Love Contest. All year we look forward to receiving heartwarming stories of love and connection between people and their pets.

If you’rFidoJournalism Pet Photography Unconditional Love Conteste new to the contest, this is for all the pet parents with “behaviorally challenged” animals. Inspired by our own mischievous dogs, we want to hear some great stories of your pet’s (mis-)behavior that that drives you absolutely crazy or has really put you to the test, and, of course, why you love them anyway.

If, in the back of your mind, you always wonder what you will come home to, or if you’ve racked up massive bills at the emergency vet (see our Jingles, below), or if you’ve lost count of the dinners swiped by four-legged thieves, send us your story! Most importantly, if your pet has caused you anguish, embarrassment, and worry, but you wouldn’t trade them for anything in the world, we want to hear from you.

Entries are due by 5pm ET, Tuesday, February 28. Please email your story, a picture of your pet (feel free to include pictures of the damage they’ve caused!) and contact information to contest@fidojournalism.com. The winner will receive a free FidoJournalism Pet Photography session* and a framed 11×14 print.

He has tested us beyond belief but it made us so much stronger during our first year of marriage. Kids will be easy as pie after dealing with Kelham!I’ve recounted the stories of our dogs numerous times, but nothing says Unconditional Love better than our previous winners and their pets.

Be sure to read the stories of Kelham, Murphie and Rome and then send us your own great story. Follow us on Facebook for contest updates. We can’t wait to read your entries!

I am assuming that the contest is only for people in your locality since the prize is a photo session. Is this correct?

Sharon, the prize is a session in the DC-area. We do love to read stories from all over though! I have received a few stories from out of town this year.
