2012 Fashion for Paws Runway Show

Saturday night was the 6th Annual Fashion for Paws runway show, a fundraiser for the Washington Humane Society. I attended the first Fashion for Paws at the French Embassy, and have witnessed the event’s massive growth through the years. Each year, the bar is set higher and the F4P team leaps over it. This year, they raised over $700,000 for the Humane Society. With much of the event donated by sponsors, almost all of that money goes directly to help animals in need. We even played a small part in the fundraising effort with our Pup-a-Razzi event!

With any event of this size, there are so many people who contribute to its success. The heart and soul of the event, however, is F4P Executive Director Tara de Nicolas, who was recently recognized as one of the The 66 Most Innovative Event Pros in the country. Congrats to Tara and everyone who made F4P another resounding success!

Marie Osmond was the honorary chairwoman. She adopted this puppy George at the show!

Nikki Burdine was the top female fundraising model. She raised over $40,000 by herself!

We photographed Dr. Katy Nelson‘s dogs at Pup-a-Razzi! Here, she gives Papi a kiss!

94.7 Fresh FM morning show host Tommy McFly…

Look at that cutie! And Miss Maryland Nana Meriwether isn’t too shabby either.
