After my session with the Weimaraners, Bronte and Beckett, I headed into DC for a shoot with Phoebe, an adorable Miniature Pinscher. Phoebe’s mom had hired me for a session when she was dog-sitting for her brother’s dog Stella (on the old blog) while he was overseas. She recently adopted Phoebe and of course had to have some professional photos of her little princess.
Phoebe was adopted from the Washington Humane Society after being rescued from a Tennessee puppy mill. She was understandably a little timid and mostly wanted to stay by mom, which worked out fine as some of my favorite shots are of the two of them together. I always love when I can capture the connection between pets and their parents.
Phoebe and Emily are getting ready to move to New York to take the Big Apple by storm. I’m sad to see them go, but doesn’t a New York photo shoot sound like a great idea?
